Learn Spanish in Malaga

Enjoy a Spanish language course in Spain at our language school in the city of Malaga.

This sun splashed Mediterranean City was the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Malaga shares the combination of forthrightness and grace that characterized Picasso's art.

Located on the Mediterranean coast, Malaga enjoys more than 320 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of 22ºC, due to its location in the weather shadow of beautiful and rugged mountains.

This region called "Andalucia", is a land of sensual pleasures. Listen to the sounds of flamenco echoing through its warm summer nights or satisfy your hunger at the Andalucian table, overflowing with the country's finest olives, famous Sherries, and the legendary mountain hams of Trevélez and Jabugo.

The coastline offers many beautiful beaches, sandy coves and is dotted with small fishing villages.

SCHOOL FACILITIES
Over 15 classrooms (air conditioning is available in most of the classes), rooftop terrace, internet access (air conditioned) with 20 modern windows PCs, school cafeteria, social rooms, geardens and patios, reception travel desk, TV and video room. At first glance upon arriving, you can understand why the Malaga school is our most popular!

Situated in a district of Málaga, which is called "Pedregalejo" it offers a relaxing residential atmosphere, yet the heart of the city is only ten minutes away and the beach is less than 200 meters.

Both the beach and promenade, with its local bars, cafes and authentic fish restaurants, are enjoyed by both the locals and international students.

The ´Malagueños´ prefer this coast with its many bays and you can watch them prepare there daily catch ´espetos´ directly on the beach. The city center is easy to reach, there is a bus stop next to the school and the buses run every ten minutes.

Our school is housed in four charming and beautiful "white washed" Andalusian villas, which offer bright and spacious classrooms with a Mediterranean atmosphere.

The school's roof-top terrace provides a terrific view of both the mountains of Málaga (North) or the Mediterranean Sea (South), a great place to relax after classes with the other students.

Our school has a fantastic mix of international students from around the world, over 2000 per year, the main nationalities include German, English, North Americans, Scandinavian, Dutch, Italian and Japanese, all learning a new language together!

Host Family: (private or shared room) 2 meals daily.

Living with a host family is probably the best and most effective way to become fully immersed into the language and culture of your chosen country.

All families are chosen after a careful selection procedure and are visited regularly by the school to ensure that high living standards are maintained. As many of our host families live in the surrounding neighborhoods, the trip to school is usually not more than 10 to 15 minutes away by bus and many are within walking distance to our Malaga school.

Students have access to all living areas in the house and in most cases, will be expected to share the bathroom. All bed linens and pillows will be provided, however we suggest you bring your own towels. If your family does not provide a laundry service, they may allow you to use the laundry facilities for a small additional charge.

Self Catering Apartments: (private or shared room) no meals. Choose between Basic (Apt1), Comfort (Apt2) or Comfort Plus (Apt3)

This is also a very popular option especially for those students looking for further independence. Our apartments are normally located within the same distance as the host families (many are closer) and are shared (with other international students studying at the school). Our apartments are co-ed, however rooms are shared with the same gender.

All apartments provide a well equipped kitchen (including cooking utensils), shared bathroom facilities and living areas. The apartments vary in size and number of bedrooms, depending on the location in the city but expect to share with 2 - 4 other students.

NOTE: The comfort and comfort plus upgrades normally offer greater comforts: a larger apartment, better furnished, perhaps with a balcony, better location, TV, etc. Comfort plus apartments are often located close to the beach or have a pool in the apartment complex.

All apartments are self-catering, which means meals are not included and students provide their own groceries and prepare their own meals or eat out. In many cases the cooking becomes a social event in the apartment and a great way to chat and make new friends. Many students have theme nights, where they take turns to prepare a meal from their home country for the rest of the students.

NOTES: Airport transfers may be included or available, also extra nights can be booked before / after course (at an additional cost), please check price page for details. The Sunday night accommodation before your course begins on Monday, is included in the program price. All meals will be local custom and meal times may be different to what you are used to, however you are not obligated to eat all your meals with the family, just notify them when you will not be returning to eat.. Our families are diverse with young couples without children, couples with children (of all age groups) and older couples with grown children who are no longer at home. Please see the Accommodation link for additional information.
